Carl H. Beebe

Goodbyes are not forever, goodbyes are not the end. They simply mean well miss you, until we meet again. Carl H. Beebe, 70, of Berkshire, passed away peacefully, on April 30, 2014,following an illness. Missing him greatly are his loving wife and best friend of more than 47 year, Karen (Keyes) Beebe, his devoted children and their spouses: Michelle and Dana Tirrell, Lori Kirtland, Kristine and Robert Yacovoni, Jennifer Beebe, Carl M. and Jill Beebe and his cherished grandchildren: Ashley, Andrea, Kim, Amanda, Carly, Nicholas, Michael, Maria, Katie and Madison. Also surviving is his sister, Joyce Warner, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Born in Newark Valley, Carl was the son of Donald and Frances (Strickland) Beebe. Raised on a farm, he realized, at a very early age, his love for the outdoors. As an adult, he devoted his time to working on his land, producing maple syrup and building a family that he could pass his love and knowledge onto for generations to come. Although his first love was the outoors, his true love and passion was Karen. In her, he found the joy and happiness everyone longs for. They spent many years creating the perfect life together with their family. He had a passion for WWE and loved to watch and share this with his family, especially his grandchildren. Many Saturday nights were reserved for playing cards, telling jokes and laughing at the grandkids everyday antics. His smile, compassion, laughter and pure heart will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A Memorial Service and Celebration of Carls Life will be held at 1 PM this Saturday, May 3rd at the East Berkshire United Methodist Church. Pastor Viki Andrews will officiate. A period of fellowship and visitation will follow in the church hall.
