Carl E. Wall

Carl E Wall, 83, passed away suddenly at his home on Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2022. Carl is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Saundra, whom he married on the date before his birthday. He wanted to always remember their anniversary! He is also survived by his daughter and daughter-in-law, Alex Grisanti and Denise Hutchinson, his daughter-in-law, Marika Berge and her companion, Randy Crooks, his grandchildren, Brandon and Ashley Berge, his brother-in-law, Craig and Louise Valenti Koval, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Carl was predeceased by his parents, Gus and Emmy Wall, his brothers Harry and Albie and his son, Terry Berge. His life-long career has been in broadcasting, initially in Television followed by many years at almost every radio station in the triple cities area. He was both an on-air news announcer and a sales representative. Additionally, he hosted many weekend country radio shows and made many friends over the 40 years he served as bar-tender at the Binghamton Country Club. Currently he was employed with Tioga Opportunities in Owego. Carl was a most kind and generous man. He shared his time with many in the form of helping, mentoring, coaching or even just visiting for a few minutes. Memories of Carl will be always and forever in our hearts. We will surely miss you. Carls family will receive friends at SS Peter & Paul Orthodox Church, 210 Hill Ave., Endicott on Saturday, from 10 am until the time of the Funeral Service there at 11. Burial will be at a later date. MacPherson Funeral Home, Newark Valley is assisting the family.
