Bonnie Lee Cron

We are saddened to announce that on August 27, 2025, our beloved Bonnie Cron passed away unexpectedly at the age of 62. She is predeceased by her father Donald Cron and her brother Eddie Cron.

She is survived by her sister, Patricia (Alan) Hunsinger, and sister Cindy Slater. Nieces, Ashley Hunsinger, Alicia Hunsinger & husband Tony DiGiacomo, Sara Hunsinger. Nephews- Kenny (Erica) Martin and great nephews Kenny Martin Jr, Kyle Martin, Seth Kuykendall, great nieces Zoey Maynard and her wife Alex Maynard, Alyssa Melucci, and her mother Margaret Merritt. 

Bonnie is also survived by her special friend Chris, who she enjoyed spending time with. He brought happiness to her life. Bonnie’s nieces and nephew were a great joy to her.

Bonnie was so very proud to be 32 years sober and recently receiving her 32-year sobriety medallion. What a great accomplishment. Her warm smile made everyone feel at home and comfortable.

Bonnie enjoyed spending time with her sister Pat, and they visited a lot of Casino’s, one of Bonnie’s favorite things to do. Pat was a big part of her life. She was very active in the social club, loved bowling and shopping.

A period of visitation will be held on Friday, September 5, 2025, at the MacPherson Funeral Home, 5 Whig Street, Newark Valley, New York, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
