Bill

William C Foust, 64, of Newark Valley, passed away at his home on June 23, 2023 following a period of declining health. Bill was born on Oct. 23, 1958 one of 12 children born to the late Arthur and Pearl Foust. He was also predeceased by his siblings: Sarah, Glenn, Robert, and Albert Foust. He is survived by his son, Shawn Foust, daughter, Shannon Smith, granddaughter Ava Smith as well as his siblings: Lula Frisbee, Mary (Nick) Klym, Penny Foust, Pearl (Kevin) Brown, Susan Franzese, John (Tracy) Foust, Dean Foust, Rick (Rita) Foust, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Bill was a graduate of Tioga Central School, Class of 76 and enjoyed keeping in touch with his former classmates and attending his class reunions. He proudly served in the US Marine Corp. and especially enjoyed his association with the Nichols American Legion and the Waverly VFW Post. He was also a long-time employee of Felix Roma Baking Co. in Endicott.

Bill was an out-door enthusiast. He especially enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping and looked forward to the Catfish Derby every year. He will be dearly missed.

A Celebration of Bill’s Life will be held from 1-4 pm at the VFW Post, 206 Broad St, Waverly, NY on Saturday, July 8th, 2023. Full Military Honors will be accorded at 1 PM to be followed by a time of sharing stories and memories with Bill’s family and friends.
