Beverly L. Hill

On October 13, 2012, after many hours with her family by her side, Beverly L. Hill, 79, left this life and joined her parents, Robert and Iva Ayers, her former husband, Gerald Hill, Sr., her niece, Gretchen Tripp Scott, nephews, Rodney Paige, Matt Ayers and her great grandson, Preston Winslow as another guardian angel looking over their families. Beverly is survived by her children and their spouses: Geri-Lynne Ashley, John (Cheryl), Alan (Mary), Colen (Doreen), Jerry (Tracy)and Paul Hill; grandchildren: Jackie (Paul), Misty (Tony), Mandy (John), Heather (Aaron Brown), Austin, Haley, Brady, Celeste (James), Dennis (Ashley), Katie (Shawn) and Emily; great grandchildren: Delacey, Maegan, Kaliann, Brianna, Zack, Alexis, David, Payton, Abigail, Stephanie, Logan and Reagan. Also surviving are her siblings, Sharon Manarky, Bob (Wanda) Ayers, Darla Grover, Dixie (Gary) Knickerbocker, Penny (Jim) Hirst, Pam (Randy) Patton, Harlan (Sue) Ayers, Robin Ayers, Doug Ayers, many nieces, nephews cousins and friends.Bev was a former resident of Newark Valley. Her family was her life. Bevs children wish to thank their Aunt Sharon for always being there for them and their Mom. We know it was not easy for you but it made it easier for us. They would also like to acknowledge and thank the staff of Riverview Manor Nursing Home for the concern, respect and compassion shown to Beverly and the family.Her family will receive their friends at the MacPherson Funeral Home, Newark Valley on Thursday from 5-6 PM followed by a Celebration of Her Life with Matthew P. Binkewiccz officiating. Inurnment will be in Riverhurst Cemetery.
