Mrs. Betty P. Methven, 85 formerly of Nanticoke, PA and also a resident in NJ for many years,passed away on August 9, 2014 following a period of declining helath at Elizabeth Church Manor.She is survived by her former son-in-law, Nicholas (Barbara) Canizio and grandchildren: Nicole Connor and Stephen Canizio and several cousins.Family services will be private at Arlington National Cemetery crypt she will be with her late husband Stephen D. Methven MacPherson Funeral Home, Newark Valley is assisting with arrangements. Condolences and memories may be written in her guest book at macphersonfh.com
