Betty A. Cartwright

Betty Alice Cartwright, 63, of Owego, NY passed away at her home on Friday, July 9, 2021, unexpectedly the same day as her beloved dad Lavern Tuttle. Betty is survived by her mother Lillian Lunn Tuttle; her son Richard L. (Rachel) Johnson, Jr.; her siblings Patrick Cartwright Sr. and Kevin (Kim) Tuttle; her grandchildren Brenden, Dylan, Nicholas, and Lindsey Johnson; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Alvin Tuttle and Ralph (Hoss) Cartwright Jr., and granddaughter Madison Johnson. Betty was born on September 5, 1957, the daughter of Lillian Lunn Tuttle and the late Ralph Jay Cartwright Sr. She loved nature walks, puzzle books, and helping family- spoiling the kids rotten. Burial will take place in West Newark Cemetery on Friday, July 16, 2021 at 1 o'clock. A celebration of life will follow at 54 Old Rte 38, Owego, NY.
