Bernice H. Sneden

Bernice H. Sneden, 87 of Maine, NY and formerly of Liverpool, died on Feb. 20, 2010 with her family by her side. Bernice is survived by her sons: David (the late Christina) Voinier, Paul (Michelle) Sneden, Jeffrey (Jamie) Sneden, grandchildren: Denis Voinier, Desiree Fitzgerald, James Allen, Joseph Sneden and Jon Kinney. Born on April 25, 1922, in Irvington, NJ she was a daughter of the late Fred and Elsie (Freeman) Hecht. She was married to Joseph S. Sneden who predeceased her in 1989. The couple also resided in MA, RI, IL and Fl. Her brother, Bruce Hecht of Michigan, also predeceased her. She served as Vice President of Pro-Pilots, Inc., a family business and retired in 1985. Bernice was a member of Unity Church in Syracuse for 37 years and was very active as President of the Board of Trustees. She also served as a teacher, coordinator of the Prayer Circle and an occasional Sunday guest speaker.A Memorial service and celebration of her life will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, Feb. 27, at Unity Church and Spiritual Center, 300 W.
