Surrounded by his family, Bernard John Bruetsch, 85, passed away on Saturday, December 8, 2012. He was reunited in heaven with his loving wife Caroline. He is survived by his children and grandchildren: John and Janice Bruetsch and their children Jason (Colleen), Daniel, Kyle; Bill and Annette Bruetsch and their children, Bill Jr., Dylan; Dennis and Kelly Bruetsch and their children Michael, Devin and Sheldon; Jolene and Lynn Struzinsky, Jr. and son Jade Rothman; a brother and sister-in-law: Harold and Jean Bruetsch; sister and brother-in-law: Donna and Peter Kopansky. Bernie was born on January 28, 1927 in Endicott, NY a son of the late John and Lettie Bruetsch. He was a graduate of Union Endicott High School and proudly served his country with the US Army. Bernard was a retired employee of IBM-Glendale and was a member of Most Holy Rosary Church in Maine. He treasured the time spent with his family, enjoyed fishing, golfing and playing cards. Family and friends are invited to a period of visitation on Thursday, December 13th at Most Holy Rosary Church from 10 am to 11 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 am with Father Clarence Cerwonka, officiating. Interment will follow in the Maine Cemetery where military honors will be accorded.
