On Monday morning, July 5 , 2021 following a night at Tioga Downs and winning big Armando "Monty" Joseph Frederico, 95, of Newark Valley and formerly of Philadelphia passed away at his home. He left us with a smile on his face and the joy of winning big in his heart. Monty was born on October 22, 1925 in Philadelphia County, Pa a son of the late Antonio and Rosa Ne (Ieraldi) Frederico. Monty had the ability to engage anyone and always enjoyed his late night visits with friends at Dunkin Donuts and McDonalds. He loved baseball and never missed watching a game. One of his all-time favorite activities was going to the casinos as well as playing cards. His daily routine included going to the local corner store Lucky Stop & Grocery Store to spend his day with the Chhibla Family, John R., Jimmy, Franny, and John.
