Anton Steenrod, 54, of Marathon, NY, passed away on August 30, 2012 at Cortland Regional Medical Center. Born in Endicott, NY on March 7, 1958, Anton was the son of the late Albert and Josephine (Kreischer) Steenrod. He is survived by his daughters: April Steenrod and Desiree Shutts; 6 grandchildren; brothers: Fred (Christine) Steenrod and Floyd (Sherry Hamilton) Steenrod and sister, Rosanna E. Thomas and family.A celebration of Anton's life will be held at a family gathering at a later date.
