Andrew L Williams

Andrew "Andy" Williams, 63, passed suddenly on Jan. 13, 2019. Andy was a loving partner to Edward Yescavage, also deceased, and is survived by the mother of his four children Yvonne Conley, his children Adam, Daisy, A.J., and Jessica Williams, his granddaughter, Aryana Mangieri, and his three brothers Fred, Frank, and John Williams. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Born on April 11, 1955, in Waverly, NY, Andy was the son of Daisy and Eugene Williams. He attended Tioga Center High School, where he was a member of the Civil Air Patrol. He worked for the Newark Valley Central School District for over twenty years in the maintenance department, where he made many life-long friends. Andy and Ed built a beautiful home together and a cottage on Cayuga Lake. Andy was a kind, genuine, and loving soul, and always the center of any gathering of friends or family. His warmhearted nature and generous spirit will be deeply missed. A celebration of Andys life will be held at the MacPherson Funeral Home at 11 am on Thurs., Jan 17, with Pastor Ben Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery.
