Allen R. Seymour

Allen R. Seymour, 52, of Owego, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2009 at Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton. Allen was born on Feb. 17, 1957 in Cortland, NY a son of Carol Joan (Dingman) Seymour and the late Roger A. Seymour. He is survived by his wife or 32 years, Vicky (Harding) Seymour, his children, Troy (Jennifer) Seymour, Cody (Valerie) Seymour and Billie Jo (James) Goodwin, grandchildren Megan and Xavier Goodwin. Also surviving are his mother and step father, Joan and J. Phil Coffin, his brother, Joseph (Jean) Seymour, sisters, Carol (Bob) Smith, and Tammy Bower, mother-in-law, Sally Harding, brothers-in-law, Tim Harding and Charles 'Ike' (Anita) Harding, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Allen was a long time employee of Morse Chain/Emerson in Ithaca. He was a loving husband and dad who also adored his grandchildren. He enjoyed watching TV cooking shows and baking and cooking himself. He was a kind and thoughtful person especially to his elders and to anyone who needed help. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 17th at 5:00 PM; at the Congragational Church of Berkshire, with Rev. James Willard Officiating.
