Alinda F. Lindy Sisson, 56, of Endicott, slipped into the welcoming arms of Jesus Christ, her Savior on Wednesday, Nov 2, 2022. She was surrounded by her loving family as Jesus welcomed her home. She is now walking, leaping, and praising God! Lindy is survived by her best friend, loving husband, and Pastor, Michael Sisson; her daughter Chantal (Sisson) Alger and son-in-law Larry Alger; their children--her grandchildren, Aiden and Madisen Alger; her parents: Albert and Florence (Burford) Gillow, her 5 sisters, 3 brothers, many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Lindy earned her Associate Degree from Broome Community College and was employed as a health care aide with Community Options and the Southern Tier Independence Center (STIC). A tremendously strong, vibrant, caring, and independent woman, she refused to allow MS to define her. She had a unique ability to interact and communicate with everyone regardless of status. She was a devoted child of Gods family, following her husband wherever he was led to preach the gospel. I shall see His face in righteousness, I shall be satisfied when I awake in His likeness. Ps. 17:15 Family and friends will gather for a time of sharing on Tuesday November 8th,2022 at the MacPherson Funeral Home, Newark Valley from 10 am until 12 Noon. A Celebration of Her Life will follow. For those wishing to remember Alinda 'Lindy' Sisson in a special way, kindly consider a charitable gift to the MS Society or STIC in loving memory.
