Marjorie J. Taber, 82,of Newark Valley, passed away peacefully on Nov. 7, 2014. Marge is survived by her loving and cherished family: twin daughters, Carol (Lloyd) Signs, Cheryl (Jesse) Marroquin; sons: James (Terri) Taber and Gilbert Taber, 11 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and her devoted and faithful canine companion, Shotsie. Marge was predeceased by her parents: Henry and Margaret (Coddington) Fuller; her husband, Derwin Taber, her son, Lanny Trotter, brothers: Herbert and Robert Fuller and daughter-in-law, Judy Taber.Early in life, a strong work ethic was instilled into Marge by her parents. With a beautiful smile on her face and in a truly unselfish manner, Marge faced all of lifes joys as well as its difficulties. She found great pleasure working in her flower gardens, reading, crocheting, working puzzle books, helping her son at his business and being with and caring for her family. There was no time left for wasted minutes!Marges family will receive friends and share memories and stories on Tuesday, Nov. 11th from 10 until 11:45 am at the MacPherson Funeral Home in Newark Valley. A Celebration of her Life and Funeral Service will follow there at 12 noon with Rev. James Willard officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Bainbridge. Friends who wish may kindly consider a charity of their choice in loving memory of Marjorie Taber.
